The Eggspectation concept was founded in 1993 by Jimmy Skindilias and Enzo Renda when they opened their first restaurant in an affluent commercial and residential area of Montreal, Canada. Since then Eggspectation restaurants have become synonymous with innovation, high quality food, excellent service, and a unique and exciting dining experience. With nine restaurants in Ontario and Quebec and two in India it became time in 2002 to cross the border into the U.S.
In 2004 we formed Eggspectation Restaurants, LLC to own, operate and franchise the Eggspectation concept in the U.S. and worldwide, excluding Canada and India.
Plans are now underway to begin a very aggressive company unit expansion in the Northeast and to franchise units across the country through area development agreements with highly-qualified, experienced operators. We aim to open a total of 70 Eggspectations across the USA within five years; 200 within 10 years.
